NEW JERSEY – The Hotel and Gaming Trades Council, AFL-CIO (HTC) announced their support for Representative Rob Menendez for re-election to serve the people of New Jersey’s Eighth Congressional District for a second term.
“In his first term in Congress, Rob has been a champion for working families and organized labor,” said HTC President Rich Maroko. “We are eager to send him back to Washington so he can continue his work on behalf of our members living in the Eighth District.”
“I am grateful to be supported by the hard-working men and women of HTC,” said Rep. Rob Menendez. “From strong pro-union legislation like the Working Families Task Force Act and the PRO Act, to standing side-by-side with our brothers and sisters on the picket line, we will continue the work. And to do so, we’re going to keep partnering together to keep up the good fight for our working families, for the rights of workers, for livable wages, and so much more.”
HTC represents approximately 6,000 members in Northern New Jersey, many of whom live and work in New Jersey’s Eighth Congressional District.
