NORTH BERGEN, N.J. – The International Longshoremen’s Association is proud to support and endorse Congressman Robert J. Menendez for re-election to New Jersey’s Eighth Congressional District. The ILA and all organized labor could not have a stronger ally in Washington than Rob Menendez.
“From his current Congressional posts including serving on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to his previous experience as a Commissioner of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Congressman Rob Menendez helps protect the jobs and the interest of our ILA New Jersey members and their families,” said ILA President Harold J. Daggett. “The ILA encourages all our members and their families residing in the Eighth Congressional District, which includes most of Hudson County, the East and North Wards of the City of Newark in Essex County, and the City of Elizabeth in Union County, to support and campaign for the reelection of Congressman Rob Menendez.”
