JERSEY CITY, NJ – Yesterday, Hispanic leaders from every level of government gathered with Congressman Rob Menendez to introduce Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar (CA-33) to New Jersey’s Eighth Congressional District.
“I am proud to join with Latino leaders to support my friend Rob Menendez,” said Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar. “He is a leader in the Democratic Caucus on comprehensive immigration reform, affordable housing and keeping the American Dream within reach for working families. As we work to take back the House in 2024, I look forward to partnering with Rob to put People Over Politics and deliver for everyday Americans.”
“It’s an honor to welcome my close friend and colleague Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar with so many members of our community,” said Congressman Rob Menendez. “Since taking office, I have worked closely with Pete to strengthen working families, address our broken immigration system, and protect our democracy. As members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), we understand the importance of having an electorate that accurately reflects the diversity of our communities – and we will continue to ensure that Latinos have a seat at every table. I am proud to have our House Democratic Leadership’s support for re-election. Together, we will make sure our community’s voice is heard not just on Election Day, but every day in the halls of Congress.”
