JERSEY CITY, NJ – On Tuesday, February 27, an enthusiastic crowd of esteemed officials and community leaders packed the house with Congressman Rob Menendez to welcome House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark (MA-5) to New Jersey’s Eighth Congressional District.
“It was an honor to visit Jersey City and see firsthand the incredible community surrounding my colleague and friend, Congressman Menendez,” said House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark. “New Jersey’s 8th District sent a fighter to Washington — he’s lowering costs, defending reproductive freedom, and delivering critical resources to bolster the state’s transportation infrastructure. His no-nonsense leadership is shutting down MAGA extremism and ensuring that we deliver results for working families. That’s why New Jersey will send him back to Washington in November and why we will take back the Majority in 2024.”
“I am proud to host my good friend and colleague House Democratic Whip Katherine Clark right here in Jersey City,” said Congressman Rob Menendez. “And it is an honor to collaborate and serve working families across our nation. Katherine and I both know: if you want to go far, you go together. From fighting MAGA extremism to strengthening reproductive access, we will always put People Over Politics and deliver for our communities. I am deeply grateful to have our House Democratic Leadership’s support for re-election to Congress in 2024 and look forward to all that we will continue to accomplish together.”
