HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – Today, Sheet Metal Workers International Association Local 25 announced their support for Congressman Rob Menendez’s re-election to serve the people of New Jersey’s Eighth District.
“In his first year in Congress, Rob has been a positive force for the members of Local 25,” said Sheet Metal Workers Local 25 President Joseph Demark, Jr. “Rob’s legislative record demonstrates his commitment to organized labor – whether it be introducing the Working Families Task Force Act which will benefit many of our members and their families, or co-sponsoring the PRO Act which will strengthen unions and protect the right to organize. Rob has also brought back over $11 billion in federal funding, much of which will directly support the Gateway Program creating new good-paying jobs for our members. Rob is always there to listen to and act upon our members’ priorities, we are proud to stand with him, and we look forward to getting him re-elected in 2024.
