HUDSON COUNTY, NJ – Today, three legislative leaders who will represent Hudson County in the State Senate in the upcoming legislative session endorsed Congressman Rob Menendez for re-election to the United States House of Representatives in 2024. State Senator-elect Angela McKnight (LD-31), State Senator-elect Raj Mukherji (LD-32), and State Senator Brian Stack (LD-33) issued the following statements:
“The constituents that Rob and I share in Jersey City, Bayonne, and Kearny have all benefited from his unwavering efforts on their behalf in Washington and in our communities,” said Senator-elect McKnight. “No matter the issue, Rob has always answered the call and worked for the betterment of our residents. Through his partnership and dedication, Rob has earned my support in 2024.”
“A lawmaker’s top priority should be constituent services. Since his swearing-in, Rob has been a relentless advocate for our shared constituents in Jersey City and Hoboken,” said Senator-elect Mukherji. “I have been especially impressed with his quick and effective response to federal cases I’ve referred to his office. I am energized by his track record of following up consistently and by his attention to vital quality of life issues impacting our community, traffic safety, flood resiliency and sustainability, infrastructure, safeguarding reproductive rights, building upon the ACA to enact a national public option for healthcare, and housing. Rob’s work ethic, zeal, and compassion assure me that the people of the district will be the biggest winners when we return Rob to Congress next year.”
“I have seen firsthand Rob’s dedication and commitment to public service,” said Senator Stack. “He has always put our communities first, providing high-quality constituent services to our residents while being an invaluable resource to us at the Capitol. I look forward to working to re-elect him in 2024.”
