Rob Menendez’s campaign for New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District was today endorsed by Brady PAC. Brady PAC is the political action arm of Brady, one of the nation’s leading gun violence prevention organizations.
“Rob Menendez knows that a core value in the heart of every New Jerseyan is protecting our children from harm,” said Brady PAC Interim Executive Director Ashley Lantz. “With Rob in Congress, we will build a safer America, where families are not torn apart by preventable gun violence. We look forward to welcoming Rob to Congress next January.”
“Brady PAC’s advocacy has helped achieve policy successes such as the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act,” said Rob Menendez. “I am proud to have earned their endorsement because we share the same priority: removing the threat of gun violence from our communities. I am committed to working with organizations like Brady to fight for common-sense gun safety reforms and gun violence prevention so that no one fears sending their kids to school, going to the grocery store, or walking on our streets. I look forward to continuing this essential work in Congress.”
Brady PAC was formed in 2018 as a countermeasure to dark money groups funded by gun manufacturers and the NRA. Its affiliated advocacy group, Brady, has been fighting to eliminate gun violence since 1974.
