Jersey City, NJ – The Hotel and Gaming Trades Council (HTC) has announced its endorsement of Rob Menendez in New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District.
“Rob has shown us that he understands this moment and what it means for working people,” said HTC President Richard Maroko. “Workers are facing unique challenges as we come out of the pandemic, and Rob has shown to us that he’s willing to fight for the right of workers to face those challenges collectively and democratically. I am confident he will do a great job in Congress, and our union is proud to endorse him.”
HTC represents approximately 6,000 members in Northern New Jersey, many of whom live and work in New Jersey’s 8th Congressional District. With this endorsement, HTC will put its potent voter engagement and mobilization operation behind Menendez’s campaign.
